Protector Försäkring is a leading Scandinavian insurance company with operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the UK, and France. The company currently has about 500 employees, of which 140 are based in their Stockholm office. As an analyst, you will be an important part of a team of eleven people responsible for profitability and business development. Your tasks will include:

Pricing of insurance
Profitability analyses
Development of operational analytical tools and forecasting models
Project management
Identification of business opportunities and optimization of processes

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with a natural ability to identify opportunities and create solutions. You are driven to develop and perform at a high level and have the courage to challenge existing methods to achieve improvements.

You are structured and responsible, with the ability to work both independently and in teams. With your initiative and focus on achieving results, you contribute to creating value for the company and its customers.

To succeed in this role, you need to be comfortable working with large datasets and have strong analytical skills to transform complex information into clear conclusions. Furthermore, we expect you to have:

An academic degree with a strong mathematical focus, such as a master's in engineering physics or mathematics, or a master's degree in a relevant field combined with good academic results
Experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python (preferable)

Scope: Full-time
Salary: Fixed salary + performance-based annual bonus
Location: Central Stockholm (Tändstickspalatset)
Remote work: During the probationary period, work will be on-site. After that, there is an opportunity for remote work up to 50%.
