Job Responsibilities

In the role of a curator at Stapelbäddsskolan, you will have a special responsibility for students in need of special support from a social and psychosocial perspective, as well as actively participating and assisting the school management in school development work. Furthermore, you will work to identify and create opportunities for change and development at the student, group, and organizational levels, for students' health, attendance, learning, and development, as well as the work environment. Your role also includes working towards an equitable learning environment that provides our students with the conditions to achieve knowledge goals and personal development in an optimal way. You will be part of Stapelbäddsskolan's student health team consisting of school management, school psychologist, school nurse, special educators, special teachers, and school doctor.

Your role also includes, in addition to what has been mentioned above, among other things:

Contributing knowledge about risk and protective factors for students' health, social situations, learning, development, etc.
Conducting school social assessments and social evaluations as needed.
Offering guidance, consultation, and advice to school staff from a social perspective.
Collaborating and cooperating with students, guardians, school staff, and if necessary, external actors regarding interventions for students.
Cooperating with authorities and organizations in preventive work related to the school or Malmö city.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work and at least two years of experience working with children and adolescents. We prefer that you have experience as a school curator. You have good insight into the school's goals and governing documents, knowledge of other administrations, and for example, child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP), as well as knowledge of practices and guidelines in the field.

As a person, you are driven and create networks both internally and externally to strengthen the organization's socio-emotional work.
