Your Role

Do you want to be part of developing one of the world's leading aircraft systems? As a designer in system installation at Saab Aeronautics, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology while taking the next step in your personal development. As a designer in System Installation, you will play a central role in integrating and installing mission systems, thereby contributing to the development of one of the world's most advanced aircraft systems.

Your main tasks will include:

• Development of detailed schematics and drawings for electronic systems
• Integration of electronic components to ensure optimal functionality and compatibility with other systems
• Working according to aviation industry regulations and standards to ensure complete compliance and safety

You will collaborate and communicate with various disciplines such as basic aircraft systems, avionics and system developers, production engineers, and assemblers. If necessary, there may also be contacts with subcontractors, partners, and customers.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, flexible, curious, and interested in technology. You will be part of a dynamic and professional team where collaboration and openness are central values. We appreciate a good spread of work experience within the group and are curious about those who have previous experience or are newly graduated in the field.

We would like you to have:

• An educational background as an engineer or from another relevant post-secondary education in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of software such as Capital Logic, PDM systems, and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred:

• Work experience as a designer, developer, system developer, calculation engineer, or assembler.
• Pilot training or experience in the aviation industry
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 and CADEL
