Development Leader in Crime Prevention and ANDTS
Do you want to contribute to the coordination of crime prevention issues and ANDTS in Stockholm County? Then we are curious to learn more about you.
What does the role involve?
The County Administrative Board is responsible for coordinating and developing crime prevention work and the alcohol, narcotics, doping, tobacco, and gambling prevention work in the county (ANDTS coordination). We are now looking for a development leader for these assignments. As a development leader in these assignments, you will work closely with other assignments within social sustainability. The role requires a flexible approach as new assignments may arise at short notice and existing assignments may be phased out.
Your tasks will include
- supporting the county's municipalities and other actors in evidence-based work
- driving, leading, and coordinating various networks and processes
- contributing to collaboration and exchange of experiences between municipalities and other relevant actors
- contributing to capacity building and joint cross-sectoral training initiatives by organizing training sessions, holding dialogue meetings, and workshops
- supporting and initiating cross-municipal measures
Are you the one we are looking for?
For this role, we want you to have:
- An academic degree in social sciences such as sociology, behavioral science, social work, criminology, or another equivalent field.
- Documented education in ANDTS.
- Documented education in crime prevention work.
- Experience working evidence-based and comprehensively with development work.
- Several years of experience in preventive work at all levels of prevention, from early prevention to relapse prevention measures, as well as knowledge of situational prevention.
- Current work experience in strategic work within the crime prevention area and ANDTS from municipalities and county administrative boards.
- Experience in project management and experience in process leadership and coordination.
It is an advantage if you have worked with dropouts within your role at a municipality or county administrative board.
As a person, you can work in a structured manner to develop ideas and solve problems. You are communicative both in speech and writing and have an easy time building trusting working relationships. To succeed in the role, you need to be accustomed to having many points of contact and have the ability to prioritize and work flexibly.

The employment is a permanent position, full-time.
You will be part of an engaged and knowledgeable team that together develops the work in the county with ANDTS crime prevention issues.
The position is located in the unit for social development. Here we work to promote people's health, safety, and a life free from violence. In the unit, we are nearly 20 people with great commitment and varying educational backgrounds: social workers, criminologists, psychologists, behavioral scientists, and public health experts.
