Recruitment and staffing is a unit within the HR department whose core mission is to support the Police Authority in competence supply where we meet the organization's needs for growth and competence. The unit is responsible for providing professional, accessible, legally secure, uniform, and equitable support in recruitment and staffing. The unit is also responsible for the national introduction process for new employees, leadership supply, and the authority's work to attract the right competence and retain the competence we already have. The mission to attract and retain is based on strengthening the authority's employer offering with the aim of creating an attractive workplace. Furthermore, the unit is responsible for the authority's personnel archive.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of an important societal mission by helping to recruit employees to Sweden's largest authority. With us, you will be part of a team whose mission is to support managers in recruiting employees in the authority through a consultative approach. The work is done in close contact and dialogue with both managers and your colleagues. You will also play an important role in quality assuring our recruitment processes and ensuring that regulations and administrative routines/guidelines are followed. We continuously work on developing our work by following up on both the recruiting managers' and our candidates' experiences to achieve the highest possible satisfaction. Many parts of the work take place in digital environments.

Your main job responsibilities:

  • to be a consultative support to the recruiting manager and other employees within the authority
  • to independently drive several recruitment processes in parallel, which means that you will, among other things, develop a requirement profile, publish ads, process the applicant pool, interview candidates, conduct reference checks, and handle the administration related to the recruitment process.
  • to manage other commonly occurring administrative tasks such as writing decisions or disclosing public documents

QUALIFICATIONS

This is an opportunity for you who have:

  • relevant post-secondary education, preferably in the HR field or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way that the employer deems equivalent
  • at least 3 years of experience in independently driving, planning, and executing entire recruitment processes
  • experience in competency-based interview techniques
  • good knowledge of Swedish

It is advantageous if you also have:

  • experience working as a consultative HR support to managers
  • experience in public recruitment
  • experience working with psychological tests related to recruitment processes

Personal qualities

The job responsibilities require that you are used to working in a structured and meticulous manner. The role requires that you are self-driven and can work on several ongoing tasks in parallel.

The work involves many different contacts, which means that you need to be communicative and responsive to various needs, while representing established guidelines, processes, and applicable legislation. To succeed in the role, you are accommodating and enjoy being a consultative support.

Of course, you have high integrity, good judgment, and a professional approach that creates trust and good relationships within the organization.
