Your Role

Do you want to play a central role in our common goal - keeping people and society safe? Do you want to contribute to joint planning and resource utilization so that we can deliver what our customers expect from us? Join our planning section where we work on planning and follow-up of our ongoing design and industrialization assignments.

We need to strengthen our planning function with an additional Estimate Manager. In your role, you will work on developing estimates and resource assurances that encompass the entire Fighter Production area, where our department Production Engineering is included. You will collaborate with overall estimators within Aeronautics, technical support, and our managers within the department. The documentation you contribute will define our execution!

In summary, your main tasks with us will be as follows;

• Participate in projectification of ordered and decided assignments
• Cost estimates for customer offers and internal investigations
• Respond to resource requests within our department
• Identification of risks and opportunities
• Planning of estimation assignments

Your Profile

We are looking for a driven and independent Estimate Manager with analytical skills and a structured approach to deliver precise cost estimates. In your role, you will collaborate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve common goals. You are a skilled communicator with the ability to actively listen and absorb information from various sources. With a solution-oriented mindset, you take initiative, identify potential problems, and drive effective solutions. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to developing both our working methods and collaboration within the team.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Several years of experience in estimation and resource calculation work, preferably within industrial operations.
• Post-secondary education in economics, industrial economics, or strategic purchasing.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is considered an advantage if you have an aviation technical background and/or experience from the economic and follow-up system Antura.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
