Personal assistance is an intervention under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

Our client is an active and social man who has experienced a movement limitation after an accident. Therefore, we are looking for a personal assistant who can provide support in everyday life where the disability sets limits. As an assistant, you will act as our client's extended arms and legs, and the tasks will vary – from help at home to accompanying on activities such as gym training, restaurant visits, and travel.

To thrive in this role, you need to be attentive, self-driven, and adaptable to different situations.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 50s living in Landala, Gothenburg
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also advantageous if you:

• are interested in training and an active lifestyle
• have experience in stretching and massage
• have previous experience in care and support

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 75%. Work is scheduled Monday to Saturday with working hours between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
