We work within housing with special services, daily activities, employment, housing support, personal assistance, children's and short-term housing, respite care, as well as support and guidance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We at the daily activity Samverket are now looking for a new colleague. Do you enjoy working creatively? Do you want to make a difference for our participants? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

The daily activity Samverket is aimed at people with mild disabilities and currently has 16 participants. We work with clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal approaches. Samverket offers a rich variety of activities such as music, color, form, assembly, ceramics, computer work, and service-oriented work. As a support assistant, you will lead group activities within these various art forms, with multiple participants, and therefore you need to feel comfortable with this. As a support assistant, you will also develop creative activities to meet the participants' wishes. It is important for us that you place the participant at the center and base your work on the individual's interests and abilities.

As a support assistant, you are also a contact person. This means you are responsible for establishing and following up on implementation plans, work plans, routines, and manuals, as well as keeping daily notes in Treserva. Together with the unit manager, support pedagogue, and colleagues, you plan and develop the operations based on needs and resources.

Working hours are according to schedule, daytime Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a degree from the Health and Care program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social or pedagogical work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a post-secondary specialization in the disability field that includes at least 200 YH points, 120 higher education credits, or a combination thereof corresponding to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant points in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

To be able to document, you need to master the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms, which means a requirement for passing grades in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.

It is a requirement that you have experience in creative work. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in support for people with disabilities, as well as if you have a driver's license.

You bring new ideas and perspectives to work and to solve problems. You are curious and encourage dialogue and questions, and you can see more than one possible solution. Your creativity can be put into practice and lead to results. You are comfortable in social situations. You stand by decisions made and can convey uncomfortable messages when necessary.
