About us

At the Social Administration in Lysekil, we work to strengthen families and ensure children's rights and well-being. Family law is part of individual and family care, where we handle issues related to custody, residence, visitation, and paternity.

About the role

As a family law secretary, you will:

• Handle cases within family law, such as custody, residence, visitation, paternity, and adoptions.
• Conduct collaboration talks between parents to find solutions that are best for the child.
• Write legal investigations and opinions for the court.
• Provide advice and support to parents and other relatives regarding family law issues.
• Work closely with other social workers, authorities, and organizations to ensure the best interests of children in each case.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer finds equivalent.
• Has experience in social work, preferably in family law or a similar field.
• Has good knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Parental Code, Social Services Act, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
• Is attentive, empathetic, and has the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
• Can work independently, in a structured manner, and has good collaboration skills.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has a B driver's license.

Meritorious

• Experience in investigative work and contacts with courts.
• Experience in collaboration talks and mediation between parents.

Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.
