The health center is one of 33 region-run health centers that are part of the Primary Care Center and is centrally located in Skäggetorp in pleasant and functional premises. The approximately 9,000 patients registered at the health center largely have a multicultural background, and the patient's meeting and relationship with the care is of particular importance. Currently, about 40 employees from various professions work at the health center. There is also a training clinic for doctors educated in other countries.

The ST training in general medicine in Region Östergötland is organized by the General Medicine Training Center (AMC), where study directors and training secretaries coordinate side training, arrange courses and training, and participate in the development of the ST physician's training plan. Job Description

We are looking for an ST physician in general medicine for our medical clinic, which currently consists of 3 specialist physicians, 4 ST physicians, and 4 licensed physicians. We offer you a challenging and varied job. We believe you are drawn to primary care because you are interested in the breadth of the specialty area of general medicine and can envision a future in primary care. As an ST physician with us, you will receive regular supervision and, in addition to participating in ST meetings, have the opportunity to participate in training together with other junior doctors, AT doctors, and ST physicians at the health center.

Work Group

Currently, about 40 employees from various professions work at the health center, dealing with different specialist clinics. There is also a training clinic for doctors educated in other countries.

About You

You are a licensed physician and hold a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to documented level C1, as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently. If you have not completed AT or have an approved Basic Competence according to BT, there is the possibility to do BT during the first year of employment.

You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. We place great importance on personal qualities, and we would like you to have a positive attitude toward working with patients from multicultural backgrounds.
