Who are we?

Health and Medical Care Organization 2 is an area-based team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, as well as physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The area of responsibility includes five special accommodations with permanent places and respite care places. These accommodations are located at Bygdevägen 15 in Vikbolandet, Silverringen 56, Lindövägen 102, Plåtslagaregatan 8, and Trumpetaregatan 2.

Your tasks

As a nurse, you have a health and medical care mission that includes both primary and secondary responsibility for the users at the accommodation.

In the role of primary nurse, you have main responsibility for a specific number of users, while as a secondary nurse you have a consultative responsibility for a larger group of users, which becomes particularly relevant when your colleagues are on leave or during weekends. Your main workplace is Lindövägen 102, but as needed, you also assist other accommodations within the area.

The work includes preventive measures, medical assessments, as well as both medical and caring interventions. You are responsible for doctor contacts, sampling, medication management, and issuing delegations, as well as end-of-life care. Additionally, you actively participate in the unit's work to develop quality and ensure patient safety.

Your work is varied and independent, where you largely plan and implement interventions within health and medical care. At the same time, a good ability to be flexible and handle acute situations that may arise is required.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has completed a nursing education and has experience in elderly care, dementia, and palliative care.

As a person, you are stable, flexible, have personal maturity, and a positive attitude. You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

Since the work is largely consultative, it is important that you communicate clearly and pedagogically.

You have good collaboration skills but also enjoy working independently, and you appreciate the opportunity to work with quality and development work.

You have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license for manual transmission.
