We are now looking for a driven and committed nursing assistant to our wonderful team in home care.

Home care is offered to patients living in ordinary housing who have health and medical care needs but cannot get to a health center or clinic.

We perform both individual, temporary, and long-term health and medical care interventions. The operation is based at Hantverkaregatan 51 in central Norrköping and from 3 locations in the outskirts; Kolmården, Åby, and Skärblacka.

Your tasks

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will work days, evenings, and weekends with both planned and unplanned home visits.

Your main work consists of performing health and medical care interventions delegated by district nurses/nurses.

The interventions are of a more advanced nature such as sampling, insulin administration, dressing changes, tube feeding, preparing and administering medications, subcutaneous injections, compression bandaging, and more.

The first 4 weeks of work will consist of an introduction to the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant and has experience working in hospital wards, health centers, or in home care. We would also like you to have experience performing more advanced health and medical care interventions on delegation from a nurse.

As a person, you are calm, secure, and place great importance on meeting other people with warmth and respect. You focus on the patients and strive to work with high quality.

You have good self-awareness and contribute with a positive attitude in the workgroup.

Since we work with people, there are fluctuations in pace during the workday. Therefore, we see that you have the ability to maintain calm even in stressful situations and can make decisions in your work based on the available information.

You are proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing, have a B driver's license, and can cycle.
