Job Description

As a nurse with us, you will work with adults who have addiction issues. We offer support and help to individuals with harmful use of alcohol, drugs, or gambling. We always strive for high accessibility and participation for our patients, who often have psychiatric comorbidity. At the clinic, LARO treatment, withdrawal treatments, in-depth investigations, and other treatments are carried out based on evidence-based methods. Treatment contacts are often long-term. We strive for a holistic view of the individual and good collaboration with relatives, the municipality, and our healthcare neighbors, where the patient's needs are the focus.

As a nurse, you will meet patients for assessment and treatment. You will be responsible for your own patients and, in consultation with the clinic's other professions, carry out care and treatment. With us, you have the opportunity to meet one patient at a time, and all visits are booked. Work is carried out in interdisciplinary teams and is followed up at treatment conferences and collaboration meetings. We actively use individual and coordinated care plans to increase patient participation and to be able to follow up on treatment goals. Documentation is done in the Cosmic journal system.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry. Previous experience working in addiction care and/or psychiatry is an advantage but not a requirement.

We would like you to have broad knowledge, be confident in your work role, and have a flexible working style. You should be responsible and engaged, always keeping the patient in focus.

Common to all new employees is that you will be assigned a mentor who will guide you into the work at the clinic and help you get into routines, as well as follow-up conversations with your immediate manager.
