The Armed Forces Technical School, FMTS, headquartered in Halmstad, is a logistics unit where technology is at the center. The unit's operations rest on four pillars – development, education, workshop, and military unit production. For the Armed Forces' units to operate, they need functioning equipment, and FMTS plays a crucial role in this.

FMTS has a functional responsibility for the technical service within the Armed Forces, which includes following technological developments to anticipate future needs and also suggesting changes and improvements.

Here, there are exciting development opportunities for those who are technically interested, both at a basic and very advanced level. FMTS trains officers, specialist officers, and civilian employees in technical service across all branches of the armed forces. In addition, soldiers are trained in logistics.
