Job Description
Do you want to make a difference in a world that is in great need of change, while also developing further in the area you know best? Then you are likely the person we are looking for. We are interested in connecting with you who have a few years of experience in sustainable buildings and have the drive and commitment to develop as a consultant with us at Ramboll. We welcome you to a collaborative climate where innovation, technology, and sustainable communities are our common focus. You will have dedicated colleagues with extensive experience whose expertise spans a variety of technical areas.
You will belong to our Sustainable Buildings unit
As our new Environmental and Sustainability Coordinator, you will be part of our Sustainable Buildings unit. Currently, we are about 20 people with different areas of expertise, distributed across four geographical teams. We are located in offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, and Luleå. Our assignments mainly consist of environmental coordination and environmental certification in e.g. Miljöbyggnad, LEED, and BREEAM; advanced simulations of e.g. energy, indoor climate, and daylight; energy services such as energy declarations and mappings, as well as climate calculations, reuse strategies, and building transformations. In our unit, we value a good working environment and unpretentious collaboration. Within the unit, and within our national and international network at Ramboll, there is a collective experience of sustainability issues in construction projects that offers an unparalleled environment for development.
Your main tasks:
- Environmental/Sustainability coordination in construction projects, e.g. according to Miljöbyggnad, LEED, or BREEAM
- Responsibility for your own assignments where you work independently and lead your colleagues' work
- Active participation in developing Ramboll's working methods and market
- Other tasks depending on your previous experiences – e.g. reuse coordination, calculations and simulations, energy investigations, etc.
Develop together with us
When you become part of Ramboll, we will do our best to support you in your personal and professional development. We expect that you as a candidate have:
- An academic or KY education as an engineer, environmental scientist, architect, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in environmental/sustainability issues in construction projects
- Attention to detail and a structured and systematic approach to work
- Business acumen and a natural ability to build trustworthy relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Good ability to collaborate and express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
It is an advantage if you also hold a certification or accreditation within one of the major environmental certification systems and/or have experience as a consultant.
Are you ready to start working with us?
We gladly accept your CV or a few lines about yourself as a first step and look forward to learning more about you if you have the profile we are looking for. We welcome diversity in all its forms and encourage applicants from all groups to apply. We know that some applicants only submit applications if they meet all the requirements. Passion and potential can, however, often outweigh a perfect CV, and at Ramboll, you will receive help and support to grow. If you identify with this role but do not meet all the criteria, we would still like you to submit your application. You may be the perfect choice for this position or another role in our team.
The application deadline is May 15, 2025, but interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
