Experienced NPI Program Manager Wanted

We are looking for an experienced NPI Program Manager who wants to work with new product introduction (NPI) in reagents and tests. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the supply chain throughout the product development process, from concept to volume production.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the supply chain is ready for new products, including supplier selection, production readiness, and cost-effectiveness. This position is a fixed-term employment until August 2026, starting in May/June 2025.

Your main responsibilities

• Drive and coordinate new product introduction (NPI) and ensure that the supply chain is ready for new products.
• Lead cross-functional teams within Supply Chain, Category Managers, Quality, Production, and Engineering.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies and identify and evaluate suppliers.
• Optimize product costs and manufacturability through close collaboration with design and development teams.
• Ensure that suppliers have the capacity and processes in place to meet production requirements.
• Manage the transition from pilot production to volume production, including quality controls.
• Drive improvement initiatives and implement Lean methods within product development and the supply chain.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, or another relevant field (advanced degree is a plus).
• At least five years of experience in one of the following areas: Project management in product development or supply chain, Supplier relationships and negotiation, New product introduction (NPI) or commercial manufacturing, or Supply chain management and contract negotiation.

Skills and competencies:

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and building long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve systemic problems within the supply chain.
• Experience optimizing product costs, quality, and delivery reliability through early supplier engagement.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SAP, and Agile is a plus.
