The section for analysis of self-manufactured and purchased raw materials at Fresenius Kabi is located at the facility in Brunna. Here, the responsibility includes the development, implementation, and execution of chemical analyses to ensure the quality of incoming and self-manufactured raw materials. The department plays an important role in the quality control of raw materials used in Fresenius Kabi's drug manufacturing. QC Brunna has about 33 employees who work closely together in teams and enjoy their work.

Responsibilities

As a specialist, you will be responsible for providing chemical expertise in the areas of:

• analysis of raw materials
• analysis of finished pharmaceuticals,
• development and validation of analytical methods,
• qualification of instruments and handling of regulatory issues regarding analytical methods

You will plan your own work according to given priorities and timelines, where there may be short deadlines during certain periods, which requires a good ability to manage multiple ongoing activities simultaneously and make relevant prioritizations. Your tasks will also include participating in deviation investigations and establishing and maintaining the department's SOPs.

About You

As a specialist, it is important that you enjoy independently planning, driving, and being responsible for your work. You will also lead and support others and have frequent contacts with various functions within quality control and production. Many meetings occur in groups in close collaboration with your colleagues, which requires good collaboration and communication skills. To succeed in this role, you need to be curious, goal-oriented, and structured. You possess good problem-solving and reasoning abilities and can easily see overarching contexts where you make correct assessments and prioritizations in parallel tasks and projects.

You have:

• A degree in analytical chemistry or equivalent competence.
• At least 5 years of experience in one of the areas the group is responsible for, as well as experience in independently initiating and driving larger tasks.
• Very good ability to express yourself in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing, as well as good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.

Meritorious:

• Experience in independently driving your own larger tasks/projects
• Regulatory inspections
• Experience from GMP-regulated operations

About the Position

The position is a fixed-term employment for trial purposes, which after 6 months will transition into a permanent position upon agreement between the parties. The location is in Brunna, Kungsängen. Immediate start.
