We are looking for you, a Preschool Teacher who is passionate about our younger children

In Saltsjöbaden, you will find the Nyckelpigan preschool with well-planned facilities, a lovely yard, and close proximity to beautiful nature and transportation.

Our main organization is Hoppetossa preschools. Our operations and education are based on the preschool curriculum, Lpfö18, the Education Act, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

With a focus on children's development and learning, we at Hoppetossa strive to promote a lifelong desire to learn in all our children. We work from an active, close, and engaged community. We believe that education should convey and anchor respect for human rights and fundamental democratic values. Pedagogical work and main focus

It is the children's needs and interests that guide the content of education and teaching. Our children are therefore given ample time and opportunities to learn, investigate, and explore their environment in interaction with others, but also in collaboration with the environment and materials.

We see children as competent, knowledgeable, curious, and enterprising. Their theories and hypotheses are sought, tested, and lead the learning processes forward. An exploratory approach strengthens children's self-esteem and gives them playful space to develop and grow at their own pace.

This requires us to actively listen, observe, and reflect on our education and teaching based on each child's abilities.

We document and reflect together in the work team to create a thoughtful pedagogical practice based on the children's own thoughts and perspectives.

We have Sustainable Development as a Focus Area and this academic year with Themes on Waste and Garbage, Consumption and Resources, and Lifestyle and Health linked to the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We place great importance on our children's language development by encouraging and taking advantage of their curiosity and interest in communicating in various ways.
