Job Responsibilities

Stadsfastigheter is now looking for two summer workers who will work with the supervision of younger summer workers. As a supervisor for the "Ung i sommar" interns, you are expected to plan, project lead, and manage the "Ung i sommar" interns. "Ung i sommar" is a summer job program that the city of Malmö offers to youth aged 16-19. At Stadsfastigheter, we intend to bring in 6 "Ung i sommar" interns who will assist us with tasks such as sorting work materials and calculations from the archives, cleaning shelters, assisting with the inventory of maintenance plans, and gaining insight into our operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is studying, for example, Property Management or Civil Engineering in Road and Water Construction and has completed at least 2 years of the program by summer. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. In the role of supervisor for the "Ung i sommar" interns, we prefer candidates who have previous experience leading children and youth, for example, within community organizations.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate and build relationships, as the role involves many contacts, especially internally. You have a good ability to follow guidelines and timelines, as you need to understand and convey information further.

About the Workplace

Stadsfastigheter's 200 employees manage the city of Malmö's properties for schools, childcare, elderly care, and culture. The portfolio amounts to over 1.8 million square meters and generates approximately 2 billion SEK annually. Our main task is to meet the needs of our space users for well-functioning premises.

The Service Administration is divided into five departments and offers everything from transport services to IT and responding to citizens in Malmö city's contact center. We maintain streets, parks, green areas, and beaches, manage all of Malmö city's buildings, and ensure that our school students receive good and nutritious food.
