Job Description

AFRY Process Industries has a newly established multidisciplinary section in Malmö & Helsingborg focused on expanding AFRY's operations within the Process Industry in Skåne - Become a part of the team!

To strengthen our efforts in Skåne, we need to expand our operations with Instrument Engineers. As we have established a new section, you as an employee will have the opportunity to contribute and shape a winning team from the ground up!

You will work on various types of projects and assignments within the Process Industry, which will be guided by your expertise, the client's needs, and your personal ambitions and development plan. You will work with:

• Feasibility studies
• Design of control and regulation systems
• Construction and production of detailed drawings
• Field installations and commissioning
• Technical specifications
• Cost estimation
• Fieldbus technology and PLC/DCS systems
• ATEX & SIL design
• Project/discipline management

In your role as an Instrument Engineer, you will support the development of the group and have a significant impact on the design of the team in close collaboration with the section manager. You will also assist in building the team and selling new solutions to clients. Other areas of work include actively participating in our projects both internally and externally at the client's site.

As an employee with us, you will either work on-site at the client's project organization or be part of one of our in-house projects based at our offices in Malmö or Helsingborg. We in the segment are in an exciting phase - therefore, we are now looking for more engaged employees to develop the business to take on more and larger commitments within the process industry!

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation within the process industry, preferably in process, energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical industries.
• Experience working in project form and preferably a good understanding of other disciplines.
• A technical education from university, college, YH, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.

In addition, you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a B driver's license as travel to clients is required in the position.

Additional Information

You will belong to AFRY's division Process Industries and work in the segment Local Projects & Engineering South, which extends from Malmö to Lysekil. We already have a very strong foothold on the west coast and are running several large projects within the process industry with project total commitments and services in areas such as Project Management, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechanics, Piping, Health and Safety, and HVAC. Now we want to spread all the way down to Skåne and are looking for someone who wants to join us on an exciting journey!
