Customer Project Manager at Cyclife

Cyclife is looking for a Customer Project Manager responsible for the entire process – from transport to treatment of radioactive contaminated waste. The position is full-time and offers a permanent employment contract with a 6-month probation period. The placement is hybrid in the long term, with the main workplace at Cyclife's facility in Studsvik, just outside Nyköping.

About the position

As a Customer Project Manager within the Commercial Operations & Project Management business area, you will have overall responsibility for the project's execution, from start to finish. You will lead and coordinate projects related to transport, treatment, and return of waste to the customer, ensuring that timelines and budgets are followed with a focus on safety, environment, and quality.

Your responsibilities include:

• Communicating and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing and following up on the project's timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitoring financial reporting and control.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Regularly updating stakeholders on the project's status.

You will manage multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with the operations organization, production, and technical specialists. The role reports to the department manager.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Experience as a project manager for complex projects, preferably within the nuclear industry
• Work experience in industry or process-driven operations
• Good knowledge of MS Office, preferably also MS Project
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience in the energy sector or other high-risk industries (advantageous)

As a person, you are curious, customer-oriented, and structured. With your strong communication skills and ability to build relationships, you collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You have good contract understanding, experience in risk assessment, and are accustomed to working with cost calculations. Your ability to analyze challenges and pay attention to details helps you contribute to effective and well-executed projects.
