The Role of Educator

The overarching purpose and goal of the role is to ensure that our participants, with the help of individually tailored pedagogical support (IPSU), can become independent and complete their educational efforts with satisfactory results.

We are looking for an educator for a full-time position in Jönköping. As an educator, you will support individual participants who have a disability and are attending training through the Employment Service. Support is provided in the specific areas where the participant needs assistance. Based on the needs in the educational situation, IPSU is tailored with the right competence, pedagogical interventions, and work aids for each participant. You will work with participants at their training locations. Travel to various training sites is required.

You will be part of a team alongside other educators in the nearby area, as well as specialists and coordinators. To thrive in this role, you should feel comfortable working independently with participants, be solution-focused, and flexible. Communication, feedback, and building good relationships with participants, colleagues, clients, and others come naturally to you.

Eligibility Requirements

Work Experience

• Documented experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting for at least 1 year.
• Documented experience working with cognitive aids in an educational setting for at least 1 year.

Work experience must be certified.

Educational Requirements

Relevant education in pedagogy and/or working with individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Preferred: Sign language proficiency

Full-time permanent position.
