Your role

We are now looking for a licensed teacher in English for a permanent position at Komvux Södermalm, the Theory unit. The employment is for a holiday position. You will primarily teach English at the basic and upper secondary level within regular adult education, but commissioned training may also be included. Teaching takes place in classrooms during the day and evening, but can also be conducted remotely.

Your assignment as a teacher includes among other things

• conducting teaching based on current research and proven experience and in accordance with applicable governing documents for adult education.
• conducting teaching that contributes to increased goal fulfillment.
• mapping, implementing, and following up on additional adaptations within the framework of teaching.
• collaborating with colleagues around students, teaching, and planning.
• actively participating in and contributing to the unit's development work.

Your competence and experience

Requirements for the position

You have teaching qualifications and a license in English at the upper secondary level and have experience working as a teacher. You also have a high digital competence and integrate digital resources into your lessons to improve students' learning. You have experience planning and conducting distance and remote teaching.

As a person, you are engaged and have a very good ability to collaborate. You are driven by development in both large and small matters and motivated by results and goal fulfillment. You have a holistic perspective and contribute your competence at the student, school, and self-management level. You appreciate collegial work and take an active role in driving development forward in the collegium. We place great emphasis on personal suitability where flexibility, commitment, and collaboration skills are of particular importance. You are engaged in adult education and have the student's opportunity for a second chance in focus in your work.
