YOUR TASKS

In the role of Digital Hardware Designer at our client, you will be part of a team and involved in various projects. You will receive requirement specifications from another team, where your and your colleagues' task will be to design PCB schematics and board layout. Once the products have been manufactured, the team is also responsible for testing and verifying that everything works as it should. If errors are discovered in the product, it is part of the job to redesign and improve the design. Additionally, report writing and specification drafting are included.

You will receive thorough onboarding and a mentor to turn to when you are new. The most important thing is that you are willing to learn and have a great interest in technology and problem-solving.

YOUR PROFILE

To fit in the role of Digital Hardware Designer at our client, you should be communicative, proactive, and structured in your work approach. You are curious, positive, and want to develop and learn more. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment process.

In addition to personal qualities, you should also meet the following requirements:

• Master in Electrical Engineering or similar education
• English in written and spoken
• 3 years of experience within hardware where you have acquired knowledge of:
• Signal integrity and Power integrity
• Simulation tools (Mentor, Ansys, SiSoft)
• Layout and schematic tool (Cadence)
• Experience in EMC theory
• Experience using lab equipment such as logic analyzers, pattern generators, oscilloscopes, etc.
• You understand electrical performance and limitations such as trade-off between power consumption and noise performance, and the limitations of on-die integrated solutions versus discrete built.

It is advantageous if you have:

• PhD within the area of SI/PI
• Swedish in writing and speaking

They’re located in large and fresh premises in Kista. You will belong to a section within the client's radio segment, which works with digital hardware design within the company's radio projects. The group consists of a wonderful team of 22 people.
