Automation Engineer with Project Responsibility

About the Role

As an automation engineer with project responsibility, you will have overall responsibility for the partial delivery within Alarm & Monitoring in customer projects according to contract. You will lead and manage the activities of the partial delivery to ensure that project goals regarding delivery scope, time, quality, economy, and customer satisfaction are achieved. The role also includes leading the execution, including detailed design, and carrying out technical deliveries such as programming, configuration, material orders, installation, commissioning, adjustment, and testing of monitoring systems.

Your main tasks include:

  • Leading and managing the partial delivery from project handover to project completion.
  • Ensuring that the partial delivery is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Coromatic's quality and environmental management system.
  • Being responsible for resource needs within the partial delivery, including both personnel and material resources.
  • Communicating with all relevant stakeholders according to the established communication plan.
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities and continuously reporting deviations.
  • Monitoring the economy within the partial delivery and preparing forecasts.
  • Participating in tender work and collaborating with the Design Team, Sales, and Services to develop customer offerings and present the technical area in customer meetings.
  • Keeping up with developments and trends in the technical field.
  • Conducting internal and customer training.

The position is based at our headquarters in Bromma. Most of the work is performed at the customer site, around Mälardalen, but travel with overnight stays may occur. The position includes a company car.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest, a structured approach, and good ability to plan and lead work in projects. You are self-driven, communicative, customer-oriented, and have strong leadership skills. As a person, you are collaborative and have your own drive and desire to create progress.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

  • Post-secondary education in control and regulation technology or electrical engineering, or equivalent solid work experience.
  • Several years of work experience in control and regulation technology within operational monitoring and the automation field.
  • Technical understanding of HVAC, electrical power, UPS, backup power, and integrated systems.
  • Very good knowledge of networks and data communication.
  • Experience in project management is an advantage.
  • Driver's license (B).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office 365.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position is classified in a security class, which means requirements for Swedish citizenship and approved security clearance and background check. The security clearance is conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
