EKERÖ ADULT EDUCATION is a unit with study and career counselors, administrators, educational coordinators, and principals. All adult education with us is through authorization or IKE. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our competent and solution-focused team. Job Description

As a study and career counselor at adult education, you play an important role in our citizens' needs to navigate their educational journey and career.

What you will do

• Provide guidance and support to the municipality's citizens and students regarding studies and future
• Guide to identify educational and career goals and bridge obstacles
• Follow up on initial assessments
• Plan studies
• Issue diplomas
• Contribute to a healthy and learning work environment

Who we are looking for

You are a person who is passionate about supporting others in their choices and has good communication skills. You can empathize with others' life situations and have active listening skills. You have experience in study and career guidance from adult education and are comfortable working independently as well as in a team. You can plan and prioritize your work and easily switch between different tasks. You are someone who enjoys sharing your knowledge and learning from others.

As a study and career counselor, you play an important role in students' needs to navigate their educational journey and career. Ekerö Adult Education consists of a small team with great commitment. We focus heavily on personal development and social interaction.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Degree in study and career counseling
• Work experience from adult education
