Nordiska Musikgymnasiet is a small and personal school located in Stockholm, Liljeholmen. The school has been around since 2001 and currently has about 60 students distributed across three grades. We offer specialized education focused on classical music.

Nordiska Musikgymnasiet is a calm and safe workplace where individual care is highly valued. Our current teacher will retire this summer, and we are therefore looking for someone for the autumn term 2025 who:

1. Has a teaching degree with qualifications in mathematics and preferably also in Natural Science.

2. Sees opportunities to work integratively across subjects and collaborates with colleagues to develop teaching.

3. Has experience and competence from working with students in need of special support.

4. Is positive, engaged, and solution-focused in your professional role.

5. Has the ability to see what needs to be done and can act independently without detailed supervision.

You will teach Mathematics at various levels; for students who choose advanced levels, this may involve deepening or specialization in mathematics. You will also teach Natural Science 1b or level 1b (Gy 25).

Some of our students also wish to study other scientific subjects, so it is an advantage if you can teach Physics, Chemistry, or Biology in addition to mathematics and natural science.

You will be part of a teaching team that collaborates closely on tests, assessments, and grades. The position also includes individual homework support for students in need of special assistance as well as mentorship.

The workload is 60-80% depending on your areas of expertise.

We expect you to be able to start working on August 11, 2025.
