About Us

The Clinical Physiology Laboratory at Skaraborg Hospital is part of the cardiology department in operational area 8.

We examine patients with symptoms from the heart, lungs, brain, etc. Our catchment area covers all of Skaraborg. We have 16 biomedical analysts and 1 assistant nurse working closely with doctors from cardiology and other specialties, as well as 6 medical secretaries. We are a cheerful group that plays a key role in the hospital's operations. We work process-oriented and value development work.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you are an important part of our team with a good community. We work closely with other professional categories to provide the best care for our patients. We work interdisciplinary with cardiologists, lung specialists, vascular surgeons, and other staff at the hospital.

As an assistant nurse in the clinical physiology lab, you will perform certain examinations independently. These include EKG, Holter EKG, TUM EKG, and ambulatory blood pressure measurement. Some examinations are conducted together with biomedical analysts or doctors, such as exercise tests, cystometry, and assisting with reveal implantation/explantation. You will also inventory supplies and order materials from the Marketplace, as well as perform some other administrative tasks.

We operate within a highly specialized field where we use technical equipment in our daily work. You will receive learning, competence, and operational development as a natural part of the job.

Qualifications

You must be a trained assistant nurse.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, meticulous, and can prioritize and organize based on changing circumstances.
