A regional joint assessment clinic for BUP

Within the Västra Götaland region, a multi-year development project has been underway to improve accessibility for children and adolescents with mental health issues. An important part of this was to establish a regional joint assessment clinic (RU) that will support and relieve all five BUP administrations within the region. The clinic's first year has had a positive impact on accessibility, and we will now expand and therefore hire more psychologists for the team. RU is a digiphysical clinic with a fun, competent, and driven staff group that always puts patients first and continuously works to improve and develop the operations. We work in teams around each patient where doctors and psychologists start the assessment by meeting the patient together and then work closely throughout the assessment process. The clinic assesses children and adolescents with ADHD, autism, or other development-related functional deviations. Several research projects are conducted at the unit. RU is organizationally part of child and adolescent psychiatry at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, and you will be located at Drottninggatan in Gothenburg. Job Responsibilities

As a PTP psychologist at RU, you will primarily have an assessment role for children and adolescents with assessment questions regarding ADHD and/or autism, together with the unit's other employees. Your tasks will include receiving children and adolescents and their guardians, conducting systematic clinical assessments using established screening instruments, rating scales, and neuropsychological testing alongside your overall clinical assessment, as well as being responsible for any diagnosis and feedback to the patient, family, and school. You will also be required to perform mandatory treatment work within BUP outpatient care, but your main tasks will consist of assessment work. Your working hours will generally be weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for children and adolescents every day. You find it exciting to be part of an assessment and evaluation operation. You are curious, engaged, unpretentious, and enjoy working in a team where everyone contributes based on their expertise to run and develop the operations. You like flowcharts and process work. You are confident, willing to make decisions, and stand by your clinical assessment.

About You

We are looking for someone with a Swedish psychology degree. Experience working with children and adolescents with development-related functional deviations (autism and ADHD) is required. Since we work with flows, administrative processes, and digital tools, we want you to have experience in one or more of these areas. Good knowledge of Swedish is necessary. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in combination with matching other recruitment to the operations.
