Nipanskolan

Nipanskolan is centrally located on the northern side of the Ångerman River in Sollefteå. The school has about 450 students from preschool to grade 9. We have a total of around 60 employees, including all professional categories. The school has several lead teachers, and the overall competence of the staff is high and valued by the school management. The school is also one of Mid Sweden University's partner schools for its teacher education.

At Nipanskolan, we continuously work with joint professional development initiatives. This year's focus has been on Classroom Leadership, and one of the aims has been to develop collegial learning, a work that will continue in the coming school year.

Nipanskolan is a relatively large unit that creates several advantages, including:

• a well-developed student health service with counselors, school nurses, study and career counselors, special teachers, and access to a school psychologist.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role, you will teach at the middle school level and also have mentoring responsibilities. The main part of your teaching will be in grades five and six - however, there may also be teaching in another subject, based on your qualifications.

We expect you to contribute your knowledge to the school's collegial learning and, together with your colleagues, create conditions for our students to achieve as much as possible based on their circumstances and needs. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others.

You will be part of the middle school's work team and responsible for students' well-being and learning. You take responsibility for the assignment and are secure and clear in your leadership role. You have a solution-focused approach, great flexibility, and base your work on a student perspective. You have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a study-friendly and good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and experience, work effectively with relevant digital tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified and licensed to teach in relevant subjects in grades 4-6.

We also see that you are a curious person who wants to collaborate and create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You take responsibility for the entire assignment and have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and at the same time clear. You are also skilled at adapting teaching and engaging for each student's optimal development.

However, based on the current labor market situation, other competencies may also be considered.

The position is filled as a temporary position, subject to the necessary decisions being made, and may transition into a permanent employment.

OTHER
