About the position

At Perido, we are seeking an experienced finance assistant for our client, an authority that provides care and treatment for youth and adults with substance abuse problems. The headquarters supports the operations nationally, and the legal department handles legal issues, information supply, and regulations, where the registrar function is responsible for document and information management. The position is located just north of central Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

As a finance assistant in accounts payable, you will be responsible for managing invoices, recording and verifying payments, and ensuring that supplier payments are made correctly and on time. You will work with reconciliations, troubleshooting, and follow-up of financial transactions, as well as handle communication with suppliers and internal departments. The role also involves contributing to process efficiency and ensuring that the authority's financial routines are followed according to applicable regulations.

As a finance assistant, it is important to be self-driven, proactive, and meticulous. You need to have a good ability to work in a structured manner and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. An analytical mindset and a knack for numbers are valuable traits, as well as a solution-oriented approach and a desire to improve and streamline work processes.

Qualifications:

• University degree in finance or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience in a similar role. Alternatively, high school or equivalent education and five (5) years of work experience as a finance assistant
• Good knowledge of financial systems (e.g., U4 Agresso, Raindance, etc.)
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience in government work

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2025-08-31. Start as soon as possible.
