At Stockholm Syncentral, approximately 60 people work with rehabilitation and habilitation for individuals with visual impairments or blindness.

We are organized into two units, one for children and one for adults, located at Fridhemsplan. Job categories include, among others, vision pedagogues, licensed opticians, social workers, licensed psychologists, licensed physiotherapists, IT pedagogues, braille teachers, and administrators.

As an administrator with us, you will be the patients' first contact with the unit and our face to the outside world. You will support the care process with the inflow and outflow of patients. This includes handling referrals, scheduling appointments, managing records, booking interpreters, and providing service via phone and 1177. Furthermore, the work may involve personnel administration, mail handling, purchasing, responsibility for hosting our on-site courses, as well as local issues and other common administrative tasks. You may also be responsible for several IT-related issues and participate in the work of monitoring and updating group activities and informational materials. You will collaborate with other administrative colleagues where you share and distribute tasks.

About you:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in administrative work within healthcare and managing course and group activities is a requirement. You should have good computer skills and solid knowledge of the healthcare's digital systems. The position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, as you will meet individuals with reduced cognitive and communicative abilities. High stress tolerance and good teamwork skills are essential. Since this is a varied and intensive job with many tasks performed under time pressure, it is crucial that you are structured and have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work. You will have several parallel processes running simultaneously and should be able to shift focus between different tasks. We place great importance on being a quick learner, persistent, proactive, and meticulous.

Solid experience with Take Care, Heroma, PingPong, 1177, TeleQ, and Raindance is advantageous. Experience with our target groups, children and adults with visual impairments/blindness, is also a plus.
