This is your mission
As an operational psychologist at the Security Police, you will assist with psychological knowledge and approaches in the agency's operational activities. You will be responsible for knowledge-enhancing initiatives with a psychological perspective on the agency's operational activities.
In this role, you will represent the Security Police in external contexts and collaborate both within and outside your own organization related to issues concerning the role.
In addition, you will also be responsible for methodological development issues related to psychological support in the operations. You will develop the work on how an operational psychologist can enrich the work at the agency.
Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna and the work is performed on-site, which means that you do not have the opportunity to work remotely. Travel within and outside Sweden may occur.
The qualifications we are looking for in you
Only those who meet the following requirements can be considered for the position.
Requirements:
- Licensed psychologist
- At least two years of experience in relevant clinical work
- Experience in collaboration and communication
- Experience in training and/or supervision
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
The employment requires Swedish citizenship.
You may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:
- Experience from work within the police, military, forensic psychiatry, psychiatry, correctional services, or similar fields
- Experience in risk assessment regarding violence
- Experience in giving presentations
- Experience in organizational development

Employment conditions
Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police involves placement in a security class. A satisfactory result in the security screening with background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act, is also required for employment.
This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment also entails an obligation to be placed in wartime.
