What does the position entail?

I am a man in my 50s with progressive MS. I use a wheelchair and need help with most aspects of my daily life. I live with my wife and dog in Stockholm, but I grew up on a farm outside Sävsjö in Småland, so I love the forest and nature. I am a social person and I fill my days with activities such as going for walks, meeting friends, exercising, and spending time with my family. Peace and quiet are also important to me, and I enjoy a good movie now and then. I will spend a lot of time at our summer house in Småland during spring and summer, from the end of April to September.

The positions are temporary employment during the period from the end of April to September. Working hours will be scheduled during days, evenings, and nights, on weekdays and weekends. Scope: Part-time. Number of positions: 2. Start date: By agreement and during the time periods mentioned above. Selection and interviews will be ongoing.

About you-

I am looking for someone who loves being in nature and appreciates the tranquility found in the woods and fields. You who apply for the position are calm and secure in yourself. You are attentive to my needs and can be social but also retreat to the assistant room when I wish. You should have good physical fitness as there may be some physically demanding tasks. You should be flexible and able to step in and take shifts in case of another assistant's absence.

As a personal assistant, we would like you to be cooperative, responsible, and a good team player, in addition to what has been mentioned above. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as an applicant and the client. This may become crucial in the final selection.

It is a merit if you:

• Share the client’s interests,
• Have experience in personal assistance.

It is required that you:

• Are smoke and snuff-free,
• Hold a valid driver’s license (B),
• Can provide a valid extract from your criminal record from the Police upon potential employment.
