The Nordic Aviation Technology Center trains about 50 students distributed over two academic years, focusing on helicopters. We adhere to the regulations of the Higher Vocational Education and the European aviation regulations according to EASA. The training facilities are modern and tailored for education, located at Luleå Airport (about 10 minutes from Luleå city). The Nordic Aviation Technology Center collaborates with several different aviation companies across the country and in Europe, where students gain part of their practical training. Significant emphasis is also placed on qualified continuing education for staff, as well as international contacts and exchanges.
Job Description
As an instructor, you play a vital role in the theoretical and practical training of future helicopter technicians. The focus will primarily be on practical training in our hangar. You, along with other instructors, will ensure that the student has the best possible conditions to obtain a Certificate of Recognition (CofR). You will also participate in scheduling and planning the operations with other staff members. We are a small team that makes it possible together, so your social skills are very important.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in the aviation technical field.
- You have a background as a civilian or military aviation technician for helicopters, and we believe you have several years of experience where you have accumulated skills and knowledge that you now want to share.
- You should have or have had an aviation technician certificate corresponding to category B1.3.
Meritorious
- B1.3 certificate
- Current experience from civil aircraft maintenance line/base.
- Knowledge of current regulations Part-66/147.
- Experience in an instructor role.
