You will work alongside experienced and dedicated colleagues, where we place a strong emphasis on the transition SSAB is undergoing. Location: Luleå.
Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the planet's future and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our societal development and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges that connect our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. Therefore, we have developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production, and by around 2030 we will be virtually fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be crucial in realizing this goal and thus contributing to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

Handling of computerized systems for, among other things, station control, relay protection, electricity measurement, and data collection is also an important part of the operation.
In standby duty, operational management tasks are also maintained with responsibility for coordination and implementation of emergency operational changes as well as fault rectification.
Working hours are daytime, and eventually, you may be included in scheduled standby duty.
Your main responsibilities

- Candidates with an electrical engineering education in power engineering or similar, as well as experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of high voltage installations within power equipment are also welcome.
- Experience with control systems, electricity measurement, and computer-based equipment is advantageous. Local orientation about the existing system and theoretical knowledge corresponding to electrical installation authorization is also advantageous.
