Technical Property Manager at COOP Norrbotten

COOP Norrbotten develops, owns, and manages retail spaces throughout the region. Primarily, this involves 40 COOP stores and 20 external tenants. The total area is 100,500 sqm, divided into 77,500 sqm owned retail spaces, 17,500 sqm leased retail spaces, and 5,500 sqm external tenants.

The Property Department at COOP Norrbotten has overall responsibility for the properties, property management, and the development of existing and new stores. In our department, we work hard and have fun at work while striving to innovate and streamline our working methods.

About the position

In the role of Technical Property Manager, you will be responsible for property management with a particular focus on technical issues related to construction and installations, where you will become an expert. The geographical area is Norrbotten County, where you will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing energy consumption, proposing and implementing energy-saving measures, and ensuring compliance with laws, environmental and regulatory requirements.

The perspective is to provide our stores with the best possible conditions; the property department exists for them!

Examples of tasks:

• Manage property management carried out by contractors
• Monitor and analyze energy usage
• Keep up with technical developments and drive the implementation of new technology
• Stay updated on laws and regulations and monitor energy and construction development issues
• Plan, procure, and carry out maintenance and renovations of stores and installations, energy efficiency projects, etc.
• Be an expert in new construction projects, especially regarding installations

The position is permanent, full-time with a fixed monthly salary, and the workplace is located in Luleå at COOP Norrbotten's Service Office with regular travel within the county.

Your profile

To take on this role, you need good knowledge of technical installations in buildings, particularly cooling and ventilation, as well as construction technical issues. You should have concrete experience in the technical operation of properties and knowledge of procurement of contracts, as well as an understanding of the regulations that govern the field. As a person, you are responsible, organized, and possess good problem-solving skills. Your personal qualities are very important, and good collaboration skills with colleagues, store managers, tenants, and suppliers are required.

Requirements:

• YH education or higher education/university degree in technology with a focus on properties, or equivalent work experience in the industry for a minimum of 5 years.
• B driver's license
• High IT maturity

Experience with property systems and property technology and/or a curiosity for new technology is a plus.
