About the position

Bellagården is a treatment unit located about 35 km from Uppsala, situated in a secluded two-story villa.

The unit caters to young people aged 15–19 with self-destructive behaviors in various forms and emotional regulation issues. We work systematically based on the social services' mission with individual treatment where each client has their own implementation plan based on their needs. We work in teams where contact persons/therapists, psychologists, nurses, and doctors collaborate to provide the client with the best care based on their circumstances and situation.

Bellagården is HBTQI-certified and accepts youth regardless of gender identity or expression, including transgender youth.

As a treatment educator at Bellagården, you will primarily work with:

-Treatment interventions

-Documentation

-External contacts with social services and other authorities

-Daily tasks are also included in the position

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook and enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To thrive and succeed in this role, we prefer that you find it easy to build relationships and have good collaboration skills.

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, behavioral science, or at least a two-year post-secondary education such as treatment educator/social educator.

It is also an advantage if you:

-have experience working in treatment for children and youth as well as psychiatry

-have experience with CBT, MI, and/or other evidence-based methods

-have experience with documentation work and medication management

Employment rate and working hours:

100%. 4-week rolling schedule with varying days, evenings, and weekends

Salary:

To be agreed upon, and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

-A manual B driver's license is required for the position.

-A background check from the Police Authority's criminal record and suspicion register for staff at HVB is always required before employment.
