In this development work, you as a physiotherapist have an important role where you and other professionals are part of an overarching team focusing on the individual's needs. There is also a renovation of the municipality's special housing that will be completed by 2026. After that, both the municipality's and the region's health care, care, and dental care will be gathered in a common building. This will create opportunities to develop new common working methods with a focus on person-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

The work is independent and flexible; no two days are alike. We work for close care with the individual in focus, where you have good support from your colleagues in the medical unit. You perform usual tasks as a physiotherapist within the framework of municipal health care responsibility at special housing and within home care. Your tasks include assessing, planning, executing, and following up health care interventions for individuals residing at Bergvattengården's nursing home, group housing within LSS, and those receiving home care. You guide and teach care staff in, for example, transfer knowledge, rehabilitative working methods, and various aids. Work with documentation and deviations according to applicable laws and regulations is included. You collaborate and communicate with internal and external actors. You will work with knowledgeable and generous colleagues. Digitalization and exciting projects give you the opportunity to develop and grow in your role.

Qualifications and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience working as a physiotherapist in elderly care is an asset. You have an interest in working with the varying and individual needs of older people. You can work both in a team and independently and take personal responsibility for your tasks. In the work, it is important to be attentive to the patient's needs and have a friendly demeanor.

Conditions

Permanent, Full-time/Part-time, start date by agreement

Working hours: You work daytime Monday to Friday

Driver's license: B driver's license. Access to a company car is available.

Due to the challenge of recruiting licensed personnel, we are currently offering a retention bonus after 12 and 24 months. We also offer financial support for moving costs and rent for those who move to Dorotea municipality.
