Nurse for Urological and Gynecological Department

We are now looking for you who want to work as a nurse in the urological and gynecological department. We are part of the Surgical Center, which is a regional clinic that includes Umeå and Skellefteå. The operations are conducted both in departments with round-the-clock services, outpatient services Monday to Friday, and surgical services that are both acute and planned.

In the urological and gynecological department, we investigate, treat, and operate on people with gynecological and urological cancer. The department also has a large number of acute admissions, such as infections, bleeding from the urinary tract, pregnancy complications, and general surgical patients when we have space. Our care is characterized by a holistic approach where many different professional categories are engaged and collaborate in teams to achieve the best possible results.

We are a smaller staff group with good cohesion and collaboration. With us, laughter comes easily, but we can also share complex situations. It is important for us to have good and open communication with each other and for everyone to feel welcome. With us, you will have the opportunity to work according to a work schedule model, called modified 3-3, designed to increase the possibility of recovery. This means that you will work approximately 88% while maintaining a full-time salary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

You will work within a broad surgical area with highly specialized surgery and emergency care where you have an important role in leading, prioritizing, and coordinating the care work within your nursing team on the department. We work in teams, and you will have close collaboration with nursing colleagues, nursing assistants, doctors, and other specialized functions.

We want you to have a secure start with us, so we will design an individual onboarding process so that you can feel that you have a good opportunity to learn the work with us. We will adjust the length of the onboarding based on your knowledge and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed nurse. We consider experience in hospital care as a merit.
