The Digitalization IT and MT Administration provides support and services to the Skåne healthcare system. The administration's mission is to introduce a modern and cohesive digital healthcare environment while managing and efficiently consolidating today's existing IT environment. The mission includes development, management, and support of existing and upcoming systems. We have about 400 employees in the administration and are located at all hospital areas in Skåne, with our headquarters in Lund.

The area of infrastructure and security consists of four units with about fifty employees. The units within the area are: Data Center, Data Communication and Telephony, Digital Workplace, and IT Security. In the units, there are unit managers, service managers, platform managers, system managers, system specialists, architects, process leaders, contract controllers, financial controllers, and more. They are responsible for the delivery of processes, daily operations, and development of existing services as well as the implementation of new ones.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a platform manager in the Data Center unit, you are responsible for one or more IT infrastructure platforms. You focus on delivering the platform and proactively ensuring that it remains appropriate and develops for the IT/MT services it is part of, as well as future IT/MT services. You ensure compliance, management, and continuous improvements and development throughout the lifecycle of your platform and possess extensive knowledge of its functionality and technical prerequisites.

In the role, you are responsible for keeping your platform together from a technical and economic perspective, where you prepare and follow up on the budget. Different IT/MT services that utilize the platform you are responsible for may have different requirements for development and change. Your responsibility is to maintain a cohesive, robust, secure, and accessible platform, where change management is coordinated and implemented appropriately. You are driven to develop and manage your platform together with colleagues so that it can contribute to value-creating services.

You primarily collaborate with platform specialists, architects, service managers, and suppliers. Additionally, you have a coordinating responsibility for changes towards stakeholders who utilize the platform. You also cooperate with representatives in the business, in the relevant IT/MT service structure.

We operate from premises at Medicon Village in Lund, although remote work has become a natural part of our daily routine.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have relevant university or college education or other relevant education in combination with broad technical competence and relevant work experience. Of course, you have a particular interest in IT infrastructure. You have the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. We also see that you have experience from previous platform responsibilities or similar responsibilities.

Experience with container services such as RedHat OpenShift Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Services, as well as authentication services like MS Entra ID, AD, and ADFS, is meritorious. Since we work according to ITIL, previous experience in this is also positive.

To succeed in the role of platform manager, it is important that you are responsible, structured, proactive, self-driven, and have a holistic perspective in your work. Your work requires you to be analytical and able to coordinate, plan, and prioritize activities in a complex environment with many dependencies (where your platform may be part of several IT/MT services).

You enjoy working in a team, have good communication skills, find it easy to create contacts, and have a good ability to generate engagement in improvement work. In the role, you will have dialogues with different parties who are at different levels of knowledge regarding technology and IT, and we therefore value your communicative ability to "speak IT" so that everyone understands.
