This role is within the group company Areco Steel and will be based at the office in Arlöv.

Data Engineer

Areco is in a growth phase with a strong focus on data-driven decision support and group-wide structure. To enable this, we are looking for a driven and solution-oriented person who will play a key role in both building a stable database solution between our ERP systems and Power BI, as well as taking overall responsibility for the group's master data.

In the role of Data Engineer, you will be part of the group company and report to the CEO.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Establish and drive a unified structure for the group's master data – e.g., articles, customers, suppliers, and organizational units.
• Ensure high data quality, traceability, and efficient data sharing between companies.
• Independently identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and drive change.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, sales, and production to ensure relevant, accessible, and reliable data for reporting and analysis.

Experience and Knowledge

We are looking for someone who has worked in similar positions and has been involved in database development projects in a corporate structure before.

You who apply have;

• Experience in database development and ETL processes, preferably in complex environments.
• Very good knowledge of SQL. Experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar is an advantage. Knowledge of Power BI is also a plus.
• Experience working with master data in a corporate structure.
