The HR corporate staff is part of the Corporate Office and is included in the central management of Region Skåne. The HR corporate staff has overall responsibility for the management, development, coordination, and follow-up of Region Skåne's HR work. This includes responsibility for regional common working methods, clear core processes, IT support related to the HR area, as well as leadership development and training issues.

We are now looking for two new colleagues for the HR IT support unit. With us, you will be part of a team of 15 colleagues who share responsibility for functionality and system operations in Region Skåne's IT systems within the HR area. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the system supplier. You are a specialist in your area of responsibility while working together in various teams with ambitious and responsible colleagues. We are located in pleasant offices at Dockan in Malmö and at the Town Hall in Kristianstad, but you will also have the opportunity to work remotely when the work allows.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be a key player in the development of HR systems within one of Sweden's largest employers? We are now looking for an engaged business specialist who wants to work with IT support in the HR area and contribute to a modern and efficient digital management of HR processes in Region Skåne.

As a business specialist, you will have a central role in the management and development of HR systems, with a particular focus on payroll and digitalization. You will be part of the IT support HR unit, where we are responsible for system management and application operations for several important systems that support the organization's HR processes.

In your role, you will work on the backend of the systems and ensure that they function optimally for users. You need to have a strong interest in payroll, agreements, and digitalization, as well as an eye for analysis and follow-up.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure the operation and functionality of HR systems based on the organization's needs and requirements.
• Drive development and improvements of the systems' functionality.
• Manage and optimize system settings in accordance with laws and agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with system suppliers and system managers.
• Quality assure the use of the systems by developing documentation and support materials.
• Conduct tests in connection with version upgrades.
• Participate in IT development projects within the HR area.
• Provide support and assistance to our shared service function.
• Work with analysis and follow-up to improve the systems' efficiency.

In this role, you will work closely with functional managers, process managers, and system suppliers. You also have an important role in following and interpreting changes in laws and agreements that affect the systems and contribute to improving Region Skåne's HR processes. By driving the development of digitalization and automation, you contribute to simplifying and reducing administration for our employees and managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university/higher education or equivalent education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Furthermore, you have good IT skills and experience working with system management. You also have experience reading and analyzing agreements, preferably collective agreements. It is strongly meritorious if you have experience working with payroll and/or controlling. Additionally, it is meritorious if you have experience in public operations, an understanding of various HR processes, and knowledge of Personec P.

To thrive in this role, we believe you are structured, solution-oriented, and able to quickly adapt and prioritize between different tasks as needed. You need to be analytical in your work to be able to read and understand agreements. Furthermore, you are self-driven, meticulous, and have high social competence and attention to detail. Since the work requires many points of contact, it is important that you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills.
