The Södervärn Health Center is a large health center located within the hospital area in Malmö. It is close to parking facilities as well as train and bus connections. Our health center also includes the children's health center (BVC) Familjens Hus. We have specialist clinics for diabetes, memory care, incontinence, and are also in the startup phase for elderly care.

We are constantly working to develop our operations based on our patients' needs and to create good accessibility. Quality and patient safety work are very important to us, and we invest a lot in it. We have regular staff meetings and professional gatherings so that we can collectively develop common goals, where everyone's contributions are equally important.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome you, either a newly qualified district nurse or an experienced nurse! You who apply are particularly interested in working with triage, both for walk-in patients and in telephone consultations, as this is a central task in your role. In addition to these responsibilities, regular tasks such as sample collection, dressings, vaccinations, and more are included. Given our startup of elderly care, some work at the elderly clinic may also occur based on your education and competence.

Since we are centrally located next to the hospital, we have a close collaboration with the pediatric and adult emergency departments. Here, good cooperation between our operations is important, and it is essential that all our patients receive a good reception and professional care.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply have a genuine interest in people and a good sense of how to meet individuals in different life situations. You enjoy working independently while also appreciating teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. In your work, you like to take your own initiatives and thrive in a responsible role. Additionally, you want to contribute to the development of the operations and to a well-functioning collaboration.

Regarding formal qualifications, you need to be a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, preferably with further education as a district nurse. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. Knowledge of English and Danish is an advantage. If you also have training in CPR or an interest in this, we see that as an additional merit. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
