The Adult Psychiatry Unit (VO) in Helsingborg consists of both outpatient services and inpatient wards. The mission of specialist psychiatry is to offer assessment, investigation, and treatment for individuals with complex psychiatric issues in accordance with the interface with primary care. Our catchment area includes ten municipalities in northwestern Skåne. Furthermore, we are a relatively large clinic with about 35 employees divided into interdisciplinary teams. Among us are psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and receptionists. The clinic is facing an exciting development where you as an employee have the opportunity to influence. Our ambition is to increase accessibility and create predictability for both patients and staff through a changed approach to care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to become our new nursing colleague!

Your tasks include medication and well-being follow-ups, telephone advice, and triaging. Additionally, you will conduct ADHD assessments and urine toxicology tests. In your role, you will have stabilization conversations, joint assessments with doctors, and contact with relatives.

In your role, you will often encounter complex and exciting care processes in a changing environment, where your expertise gives you great opportunities to make a difference for the patient. We base our care on the patients' needs, where the nursing is tailored individually and characterized by a professional approach. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale is a requirement. It is advantageous if you have previous work experience in psychiatric care and knowledge of the Melior journal system. A specialist education in psychiatry is also meritorious.
