Take the chance to become part of a close-knit team driven by development, improvement, and helping patients get the right aids.
The assistive technology operation is a unit within the administration of Psychiatry, habilitation, and assistive technology, responsible for all areas of assistive technology funded by Region Skåne. This includes aids for individuals with mobility, vision, hearing, communication, and cognitive impairments, medical treatment aids, orthopedic technical aids, and pharmaceutical-related products.

Here, expertise is shared among professional categories to strengthen delivery reliability towards patients. The unit actively works with transparency to promote employee participation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a product and contract manager, you have a strategic and operational overall responsibility for your product area, which for this position is diabetes and incontinence. You are the link between the assistive technology operation, healthcare, and the supplier market. This means you are responsible for coordinating procurement work, implementing contracts, and continuously following up on agreements in close collaboration with purchasers. You will also actively contribute to the development of the operation. In this role, you will work on improvements related to the prescribable product range provided to patients in Region Skåne.
Furthermore, you are responsible for ongoing product work, which includes further developing the product range, collaborating with prescribers, and preparing documentation for financial follow-up. Additionally, you will conduct market surveillance, ensure good registry maintenance, and manage supplier contacts. The work is carried out in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The operation is based on the LEAN philosophy and has created a structure where all employees participate in local pulse and improvement meetings. In these meetings, deviations and improvements are handled based on given processes. The perspective is customer-centered, where the primary customer is the prescriber and the end customer is the patients.
There is an opportunity for remote work up to two days a week when the operation allows.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with documented experience working with patients with diabetes and/or incontinence or have equivalent education and experience deemed relevant by the employer. If you belong to a licensed profession, language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. Since the work is largely administrative, good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package is necessary, especially Excel.
In addition, we would like you to have experience in public procurement. Previous professional experience in purchasing, contracts, and contact with suppliers is also meritorious, as well as experience in project management and coordination with various healthcare providers. Previous experience working in the prescription system Sesam is also advantageous.
To thrive in this role, you are structured, solution-oriented, and flexible, and possess good collaboration skills. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team, and since the work is carried out in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you are communicative and pedagogical in your approach. A driving force for you is to create and maintain relationships with various partners. Additionally, you enjoy work driven by continuous improvements. We value that you enjoy and have fun at work, which is why we place great importance on your personal qualities and expect you to share Region Skåne's values: welcoming, driving, caring, and respect.
