The Laröd Health Center is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with over 6,800 registered patients and 300 registered children at the associated child health center (BVC). We operate a branch in the local area where we offer drop-in services for doctors and nurses, as well as a clinic focused on health promotion, prevention, and early interventions. With us, about 35 dedicated employees work in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and medical secretaries. We offer child health services (BVC), medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinics, and elderly care clinics. We also have consultations with occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

Additionally, we are proud to be an academic health center (AVC), which means research assignments from the Center for Primary Care Research (CPF), by building bridges between the academic world and primary care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a district nurse or specialist nurse with a focus on elderly care who wants to be responsible for our Elderly Clinic.

We offer you the opportunity to develop our Elderly Clinic based on the unique professional area of the district nurse/specialist nurse. With us, you will utilize your subject knowledge in nursing, medical science, public health science, and health pedagogy. The work is carried out in close collaboration with experienced colleagues who, in addition to working at the health center, also have assignments as wound consultants and research academic health center coordinators. The position also includes various tasks at the health center such as district nurse consultations, telephone advice, triage, and digital consultations. Continuity and person-centered care are important for both us and our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare and have further education as a district nurse or specialist nurse with a focus on elderly care. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are required. It is advantageous if you have experience working in primary care.

You are a person who is development-oriented, driven, and has an easy time collaborating. Additionally, you have a good ability to work independently. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
