About the role and your tasks

Your work is guided by the needs of individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, caregiving, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance that the person you support needs. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the organization and maintaining good quality.

We offer you a varied job where you make a difference for others every day. We have no split shifts, and our full-time measure means you get more free time in your everyday life. With us, you have the opportunity to grow and be stimulated, for example, through different roles, responsibilities, or training.

The working hours are 7 AM to 4 PM when you work days. You will work every other weekend. We offer everyone the opportunity to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes a week.

In your daily work, you are part of our users' everyday lives and work to support them so they can live as meaningful, independent, and active lives as possible.

We are looking for you who

• are a trained care assistant.
• experience in caregiving is an advantage.
• To work in home care, cycling experience is required.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required in both speech and writing.
• You also need to have good digital skills, for example, in connection with documentation.

You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and attentive - with users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their everyday life.

To be employed as a care assistant, you must have proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer that you had a permanent position as a care assistant on July 1, 2023.

About the workplace

Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, care assistants and nursing assistants work in teams with health and medical staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area also has a unit administrator and coordinator. We provide service, care, and home health care services around the clock to the municipality's users. The home care in Genarp has its premises in the newly built Lars Kristoffers väg (formerly Solhem). We are a small unit where we work closely together with short communication paths. We work with everyday rehabilitation and strengthening the users' independence.

The goal of home care is to perform assignments with high quality based on the individual’s needs and wishes, as well as to provide the opportunity to remain in their own home.
