JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to educate, inspire, and contribute to a safer community? We are looking for dedicated Rescue Instructors who want to strengthen our operations. Through your expertise, you will shape the future of training and create positive development for both individuals and the organization. In this role, you will train in rescue operations, conduct exercises, and be responsible for follow-up and quality assurance. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to further educate existing employees in your areas of expertise. With us, you will be part of a collaborative training unit where we share knowledge, develop together, and build strong interpersonal relationships.

The role involves:

• Working closely with other instructors to create training of the highest quality
• Being responsible for one to two areas of expertise and developing them with your knowledge
• Registering and following up on training
• Supporting and coaching students in their development

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you are a pedagogical and clear communicator who engages and adapts your message to different target groups. You are structured, work independently, and take initiative, while also enjoying collaboration with others. Your strong collaborative skills and communication strength create engagement and drive the work forward.

You need to have:

• Experience in operational rescue service activities
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good digital skills and competence
• Driving license B

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in pedagogical work
• Experience in creating practical or theoretical training and exercises
• Further education in Rescue Service, e.g., RLA/LK1
• Military background

OTHER

The work is primarily scheduled during the day, but training activities may occur in the evenings and on weekends, depending on the needs of the operation. Our training facilities are Färjenäs, Karholmen, and Tollestorp.

Your employment will include military placement at the Rescue Service with general service obligation, which means you are obliged to serve in the event of heightened readiness or war.

Before employment, alcohol and drug testing will be conducted according to the organization's policy and in cooperation with our occupational health service. Work tests may be applied, and we place great importance on personal suitability.
