Your role

Are you a responsive and service-oriented person who can work independently and take responsibility? Then you would thrive as a support assistant at a short-term home!

We are looking for several colleagues who can work as hourly substitutes and summer substitutes during the summer period and possibly in the fall.

In this role, it is important that you master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form and adapt your communication according to the recipient's conditions. As a person, you are calm, positive, and possess personal maturity, as well as the ability to set healthy boundaries. Continuity is important for our clients, so we prefer that you see this as a long-term assignment and that you are diligent about keeping time.

Your qualifications and experience

To apply, you need to meet the following criteria:

• experience in childcare, LSS, or other care is an advantage
• be at least 18 years old
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken
• have basic computer skills to document in the operational system

It is advantageous if you:

• are a competent swimmer
• have experience working with brain injuries and epilepsy.

In the event of employment, you will need to present a criminal record extract from the police. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competencies and thus counteracting discrimination.

Enskede Årsta Vantör is one of 11 district administrations in the City of Stockholm. As part of the City of Stockholm, the administration offers preschool and leisure, care for the elderly and people with disabilities, social services, preventive and safety-promoting work, urban development, and park maintenance to our 105,000 Stockholmers living in the district. We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes in the City of Stockholm, you must present an extract from the criminal record. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
